La División Motovehículos de la Asociación de Concesionarios de Automotores de la República Argentina (ACARA) informa que el número de unidades patentadas durante enero de 2024 fue de 33.278 motovehículos, esto es una baja interanual del 19,2% ya que en enero de 2023 se habían registrado 41.161 unidades. Si la comparación es contra el pasado mes se observa una suba del 0,8%, ya que en diciembre de 2023 se habían registrado 33.001 unidades.
En cuanto a la participación, se observa algún cambio en los primeros puestos, Honda siguió liderando el mercado con 9.190 unidades, seguida por Motomel, que con 4.185 continua en el segundo lugar. Corven, con 3.099 unidades, se afianza en su histórico tercer puesto, luego de haberlo perdido algunos meses, pero cuarta esta ahora Gilera con 2.994 y supera a Zanella, que con 2.729, cierra en enero el top five. Se observa que tendremos un año con una pelea muy reñida entre la tercera y la cuarta posición, ya que hay 3 marcas que se sacan muy poca diferencia.
También hay cambios en cuanto al modelo más patentado, sigue liderando cómodamente la Honda Wave 110, histórica líder de años anteriores, segunda está la Motomel B110, pero sube al tercer escalón la Keller KN 110-8, que finalizó el 2023 quinta y escala dos posiciones. Cuarta continua la Gilera Smash, que ha alternado esa posición con la Corven Energy 110 by Corven, que finalizó enero en la quinta posición.
