En la presentación, los ingenieros destacaron los resortes helicoidales de menor rigidez, amortiguadores recalibrados para mayor confort y una nueva barra estabilizadora trasera tubular. Toyota organizó una travesía por caminos rurales para poner a prueba estas modificaciones, demostrando la mejora significativa en comparación con la SRX anterior.
