Bridgestone desembarca en San Luis con una planta de recapado de su marca Bandag

El anuncio de la pronta apertura de plantas por parte de Bandag es en respuesta al aumento en la producción que tuvo la empresa en los últimos años, donde pasó de producir 45.000 a 80.000 recapados anuales. 

Las mismas se ubicarán en San Luis, a partir de una inversión conjunta con el distribuidor Neumar – Grupo Fabian Martin, y en Bahía Blanca, gracias a un proyecto similar en conjunto con Recmil – Grupo Milla, otro distribuidor. Entre ambas, se espera que puedan producir 850 y 1200 unidades por mes, respectivamente.

“El 2021 para nosotros fue un año bisagra. Nos propusimos emprender un camino de expansión y modernización de la red Bandag existente. Desde ese año, hemos incrementado la producción de 45.000 a 80.000 recapados anuales, representando esto un aumento del 70% en el volumen total producido”, señaló Rodrigo Escudero, gerente de Asuntos Públicos y Prensa de Bridgestone Argentina.
